We'll keep the kids busy... you get ready for Santa!

After the huge success of The Ladder 87 Academy in the summer, we didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to spend one last day (in 2017) with your crazy kids!

Christmas is always a busy time, lots to do and lots to get sorted so we thought it would be massively helpful (and would get us extra brownie points!!) if we kept your kids busy for a day!

The Ladder 87 Weekend Academy @ Nuffield Letchworth

To kick off The Ladder 87 Weekend Academy we will be running a showcase day at Nuffield Health Club at Letchworth Hall Hotel.  Running from 1:00pm - 4:00pm including snacks and drinks. Your children will have a fantastic time, focussing on fitness and Ladder 87's award winning positive promises:

  • Positive Life Skills
  • Team Building 
  • First aid
  • Community awareness
  • Fitness assessment
  • Healthy eating
  • Emergency Services (The People Who Help Us!) and Fire safety

Open to all children age 4+ with all abilities, priced at £36 per session per child (payable on arrival) not only will the children have the time of their lives the parents/carers will get a FREE GUEST PASS to use ALL of the wonderful facilities at the health club for the day.  

The schedule for day will be:

1:00pm - 1:15pm -         Arrive and Register

1:15pm - 2:00pm -         1st Activity

2:00pm - 2:15pm -        Refreshments Break

2:15pm - 3:00pm -        2nd Activity

3:00pm - 3:15pm -        Refreshments Break

3:15pm - 4:00pm -        Final Activity, passing out and awards

Henlow Family Fun Day - Blues and Twos Community Event™

Ladder 87 Company will be at Henlow Family Fun Day for some serious fun in the sun! With Firefighter Experiences, including a lot of water related activities to cool you down. Join Dennis the Fire Engine and The Ladder Crew for a BIG day out! Ladder 87 Company™ will be there 1 - 4pm but other activities will start at 12 - 6pm.

Henlow Family Fun Day returns in 2017 with lots of free attractions for the family including a Big Screen showing of a children's film followed by the Wimbledon Men's finals. There will be games, mega slide, sporting challenges, food stalls, bouncy castles, display and demonstrations, Brass and Steel bands, children's storytelling and much more. In addition there will be stalls from our local clubs and organisations as well as stalls selling locally produced food and crafts.  

This event is organised by Henlow Events has been made possible by generous sponsorship from Open Living, The Crown, J Child Plumbing, Satchells, Welch's, The Five Bells, Henlow Car Sales, Perfect Aquatics and Henlow Building Supplies. With thanks also to Henlow Parish Council for kind permission to hold this event.

Hitchin Market Duck Race - Blues and Twos Community Event™

Hitchin Markets will be taking part in Hitchin Festival by hosting it's annual Duck Race to raise money for local charity's. Come by to the riverside to enjoy some summer fete activities, meet Dennis the Fire Engine™ and The Ladder Crew™ and watch Dennis squirt those Rubber Ducks down the river with his Fire Hose! There will be several duck races and the ducks will be on sale weeks leading up to the event and on the day for £1 each. It's going to be 'QUACK -TASTIC'!

Easter Bunny Hunt

Looking for something fun to do this Easter Holiday with the children? Look no further! 

Ladder 87 Company™ have joined Hitchin Bid in creating an Easter themed fun activity day! Come along and go on an Easter Bunny Hunt! Walk around beautiful Hitchin and find the Easter Bunnies that will be hiding in shops! Collect the clues and once you're done you're in for a real treat! 
The Ladder Crew™ and Dennis the Fire Engine will be parked up in Hitchin Town Square with Easter Activites. Decorate your own ''Easter Firefighter Helmet'' and play on Dennis the Fire Engine™! 

Look out for the Easter Bunny that will be hopping around!
