After the huge success of The Ladder 87 Academy in the summer, we didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to spend one last day (in 2017) with your crazy kids!
Christmas is always a busy time, lots to do and lots to get sorted so we thought it would be massively helpful (and would get us extra brownie points!!) if we kept your kids busy for a day!

Helen Baxter - 'He has had a tremendous day!! Thank you so much! One very tired but very happy camper!
Maggie Brooker Hackney - I collected two very happy, excited and tired little boys this afternoon. They did not stop sharing the events of the day all the way home. Thank you Mark and the Ladder 87 Team for a fabulous learning experience that was delivered in a child friendly and fun way!
Alex Blore - He has had the best day, won’t stop talking about it! Very proud of his first aid box. Just having a dilemma on how he can have it on him all of the time!
Hannah Wal ker- ⭐️(our favourite bit of feedback)⭐️ - 'My son Rowan has both complex medical needs and Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome (which affects behaviour and learning). He attended the Ladder 87 Academy over the summer.
The staff at the Academy were fantastic at accommodating his needs. As Rowan's medical condition can be life threatening and he has medication by tube there are very few people able or equipped to look after him. The preparation the team at the Academy undertook was fantastic. Both Michelle and Mark were trained to give medication and did so every day of the Academy. This meant Rowan could take part in the whole experience without me having to come and take him out to do medication myself.
The ethos and attitude of The Ladder Crew also made a big difference to Rowan's experience. They are a very inclusive team, Rowan took part in all the activities, alongside the neuro and medically typical children, but his individual, quite unique needs, were always accommodated. Ladder 87 treat every child as an individual and adapt their programme and practice to accommodate each child and for a child with a disability like Rowan this is perfect. They have a really personalised and caring approach which I think is unique'.
